how to tell a betsy from an abby:

betsys have short hair. abbys have very very very long hair.

betsys wear one or two rings at most. abbys wear many many rings, enough so that you hope they don't have to go through metal detectors often.

betsys are blondish. abbys are brownhaired.

and last but not least, abbys are taller. (but not much.)
