i am going to wiscon this weekend. i am gleefully looking forward to wiscon not only because it is one of the few places in the world where i can wear my "i deeply resent the way this administration makes me feel like a nutbar conspiracy theorist" t-shirt *and* my "i'm not gay but my girlfriend is" t-shirt and not only not get looked at oddly but have people ask where i got them because they want some, not only because it's the yearly meeting of my chapter of the secret feminist cabal, not only because of staying up all night laughing and drinking and talking with people who if they think i'm a big weirdo have acceptable reasons to do so and it's not because i'm smart, fat, feminist, mouthy, poly, bisexual, kinky (ever have one of those posts where you hope that this isn't the week your parents check out your blog to see what you're up to?), liberal, and i occasionally dye my hair wacky colors.
but also because i am a weeeee bit stressed about the convention (which will be a fine lovely convention, i know it will) and this is making me a) want to organize the hell out of my friends lives, whether they'd like it or not, and b) be a touch of a short fuse, emotionally. so, if i've either organized your life or bitten you recently, sorry. it'll be over soon.

It still claims it doesn't allow anonymous comments, but it's working so far, if only in IE.
Wish I could come to Wiscon too.
