here is my blinding revelation about how i wish other people would interact with me.

i don't want to be fixed. i want to be listened to.

A great deal of it focussed on that very difference -- in general, when women complain, they just want people to understand their pov. When men complain, they are looking for solutions. Obviously, this leads to wacky conversational hijinks.

in addition, i also hate it when people (in this case we might guess men) avoid me because they can't fix me.
