wiscon short report: that was great! woo!
running wiscon program for three years short report: that was, quite possibly, the most fun i've ever had in an organizational capacity in my whole entire life but i'm glad to be done with it; three years is quite enough.
what else. i brought home concrud, but am mostly done with it now. sadly, it developed into an ear infection, which i am *not* done with, but i am taking antibiotics and hope to be better soon. (although if anyone wants to lend me an ice pick, email me, huh?)
on this upcoming friday, i get my wisdom teeth taken out. i am not so much looking forward to it, although it should go very smoothly. (they came in straight, they're not impacted, nothing funny going on there.) first, it'll be minor surgery. and i haaaate having surgery. second, it'll be the first time in a decade i've had any exciting medical procedures done without having a security nathan there. since i've divorced him, it seems unfair to ask him to come be at the oral surgeons with me, and besides, a security nathan that one is married to is quite different than a security nathan that one is not married to. not so secure, for one thing.
and last but not least: kameron, over at brutal women? not dead! yaaaaay kameron!

When I had my wisdom teeth out, my dentist offered some "Valium" for the procedure if I felt nervous. At the time I told him I didn't need any.
About two hours beforehand, I called him and he ordered up some Xanax. I took some about an hour before I went to the office and actually *enjoyed* having my wisdom teeth out.
