sorry for not having posted much recently; my family is having a garage sale this upcoming weekend (if you're twin cities local and a garage sale full of christmas things, antiques, and furniture sounds like fun to you, email me and i'll tell you the address) (actually, we're going to be part of the south st paul city wide garage sale; go buy a map from the organizers, hit all the sales, and you'll see us eventually! ;) and what with the garage sale and various health crises (none of which are mine but none of which are much fun anyhow) i am just about out of cope and have no brain left for writing.

Hi, I'm Jerry. I feel as though I should introduce myself. I wish I had grown up in a more non-California environment but it would really alter my outlook on life. If only there were places like Mayberry and Stars Hollow. We are force fed the extreme right wing crap from the OC and the extreme left wing crap from Sacramento and we get squished from crap coming at us from both directions. As far as Yard Sales/Garage sales go, in So. Ca there is a trend to start on Friday and the professional buyers who resell the goods swoop in and grab everything they know can turn a profit with. Saturday is amateur day and Sunday is not worth the effort unless you get inspired to go back into the house and start bringing out things to sell because you enjoy the rush of getting rid of your junk that you don't really need. I must say, I love the candor and freedom you exhibit in your writing.
