On Nov. 7, the world will be watching as we go to the polls, seeking to ascertain whether the American people have the wisdom to try to correct a disastrous course. Posterity will note too if their collective decision is one that captured the attention of historians—that of a people voting, again and again, to endorse a leader taking a country in a catastrophic direction. The choice is in our hands.

what, because buchanan is such a leftie? :)
no, because buchanan is already well-known as a bush hater (he flung loads of shit at him in 2004), and as against the iraq war from the beginning, so this is really not all that groundbreaking. and because he's pretty far out there on that paleo-conservative wing. i don't know whether what he says has a lot of influence these days; it seems not, though one can always hope.
but, i also see nothing about this on the right-wing blogs.
