am home and fine. so far, i don't know anyone who was on or near the bridge when it collapsed. i know several people who drove that bridge today, but none when it collapsed.

i don't have a lot of things to say here. it still isn't seeming quite real. i was at a class at planned parenthood when it collapsed, and heard about it from my sister after i got out of class. i can't quite identify where the bridge is (and yes, i know which roads, but that doesn't mean that that location makes any sense to me), so i expect it won't seem quite real until either i know someonw who was there or until i try to get somewhere and can't because the bridge is out.

but i'm fine, my family is fine, everyone i can think of is fine.
