um. wow. holy fuck.

bad parts: it's short. it's the length it needs to be, but really, i wish there was more of it. also, the form factor. hello? that cover is going to die a horrible death about the third reading, and it's a different size than any other book i own.

other than that? wow. there was a bit where i thought it had all gone strangely comicbooky on me, and not in a good way, and then? the thing! with the stuff! that i can't tell you about because of spoilers!

and the kobayashi maru part! that was great!

i think right now i look like someone just hit me over the head with something. sort of wide eyed and blinky. that's what really really good books make me look like.
