okay, this nauseates me. i realize it's no longer anything but a polite pretense that the united states is a civilized country, but for the love of pete, could we try a little harder to pretend?

how about "Obviously, it's a huge priority for us to capture bin Laden and put him on trial"?

i am not particularly scared of mr. bin laden, and i will continue to not be scared of him.

i can't say that about the current american government, however.
